Prior to this, I worked in London and Sydney in predominantly brand and online focused roles in a range of industries including Professional Services, Research and Online Gaming.
Genevieve Atkinson - So you got a bad review, stop moaning and do something about it.
Genevieve Atkinson - So you got a bad review, stop moaning and do something about it.
Genevieve Atkinson is the Founder of Fossick, a new accommodation review website for the local traveller. Fossick is an acknowledgment that the domestic traveller comes with a different mind-set than New Zealand’s international visitors (except the Aussies). If you've flown from Europe, the US or Asia, coming to NZ is a big deal. Taking the kids to Roto-vegas is a different kind of holiday. Yet all these audiences are lumped together on the world' s biggest review sites. Not anymore.

Fossick is an independent site, free of  the  sales process. The sole aim is to help fellow local New Zealanders and Australians share their experiences of travelling in their own backyard. What’s this place like with 3 kids and grandma – would you go again?

Prior to starting Fossick, Genevieve has visted 56 countries, worked as a ski instructor in Vermont and for a Private Equity Firm in London. She loves all things digital and has a knack for the technical side of marketing. She has a post graduate diploma in Digital Marketing, from way back in 2007, and would rather just get on with creating cool things, than rule the world. Just don’t get her started on the real meaning of Social Media.
